About the event
In the abundance of high summer, take the opportunity to connect more deeply with your local landscapes through this foraging workshop with a twist. As well as sharing knowledge on how to identify and use the different herbs, fruits and seeds available for wild harvesting, Amy will share practices that help us to go beyond an extractive relationship with plants and other beings, to one that encourages deeper listening and exchange.
She will guide simple medidative exercises to ground us in our bodies and attune us to our surroundings, before moving through the varied parkland to meet the plants, animals and fungi that live there. This workshop is for anyone who wants a nourishing experience in nature, to learn more about their local ecosystem, and who could manage a 2 hour gentle walk across varying surfaces.
